Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Life Teen Meeting
Topic: More than Meets the Eye — Sacramentals
The goal of this night is for the teens to recognize sacramentals and to be able to distinguish between the seven sacraments and the many sacramentals. The night will also expose teens to a variety of sacramentals so that they will be more aware of them and their deeper meaning when they see them.

1st Sunday of Advent: Life Is an “Advent-sure”
12-03-2023I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5
Life is an “Advent-sure” because we know how it all turns out! It is the coming of our Lord to be with us, in us and among us. His coming is a “given.” Christ’s presence in and through us is always a sure thing. Advent assures us again and again, whether we look like it, feel like it or even act like it, that Christ is the one who gifts us with the Advent-sure of a lifetime!
