Help for the Needy Back to School Supplies Needed
The Apache Junction schools have started their summer break. They will start back to class on Wed, Jul 16. Many families in the area are struggling financially and it is difficult for them to supply their children with supplies and backpacks.
Our Help for the Needy will be collecting the following supplies to assist those families. If you wish to help, any or all of the following supplies are needed:
- Backpacks
- Boxes of pencils
- Bottles of Glue & Glue sticks
- Pencil cases
- Erasers
- Pens (Black, Blue & Red Inked ones)
- Colored Pencils
- Box of Colored Markers
- Highlighters
- Scissors
- Pocket folders
- Notebooks
- Composition Books
You may drop your donations off at the parish office during office hours or in the Help for the Needy food bins on the weekends.
We ask that all donations be in by Mon, Jun 30 so we can put them together for distribution the first two weeks in July so the children have them for the first day of school on Wed, Jul 16.
